Back in 2012 my home caught fire while I was out of town so when I came back in January Heartworks bought my 2 very young children clothes, shoes, and toys. Then when we we’re relocated Heartworks helped me get my furniture and dishes. It was such a blessing and I’m so grateful to Heartworks.
We just wanted to thank you for your generous donation to the children of Nyame Dun foster home. You should know that each child now has an outfit to wear to court proceedings and church! They are very grateful!
Give when you can give and receive when it is your time to receive. You will be gifting your family as well as the world. ~
Dear Lisa and Heartworks,I just want to send a BIG “Thank you!” form myself and the mother and daughter who you are helping. The mother is so grateful for the help and I can see that the stress has left the daughter’s face.It is just so amazing how something like this can change someone’s prospective on life. I know that it was very stressful for the mother thinking that she may be losing her housing within the next few weeks. So, THANK YOU! Thank you for showing her that there is a beautiful community of caring and support!Happy Holidays!
When I had the fire in my basement, Heartworks gave me a house cleaning, a massage, a bookstore gift certificate, but mainly love and support!.
After my husband and I lost our pottery studio to a fire and then a flood from the hurricane in 2011, we were given a check and kind letter of support. We are still humbled and grateful for the kindness.
I am so grateful Heartworks is helping my family out – thank you! We just purchased a handicapped accessible van and again you put money toward our deposit, thank you. We were able to get our payments to where we could afford the van because of you. This van has already helped! It is easier getting Jake in and out, I don’t have to lift him and I am feeling great! Emily has her space in the back and loves it. We are grateful, thank you! This is an amazing organization, you are changing our life. Thank you!
